    Interstate batteries no longer available?

I went to my local Interstate store to get a new pair of the small 12V batteries that fit our long hoods. I've seen them with both "911" and "U911" part numbers. But Interstate store said they don't carry these anymore even when ordering through central warehouse.

Anybody else found these to be NLA? Interstate store recommended another battery but not sure the dimensions would actually fit the battery boxes.

I know I can go the Miata AGM route or Porsche/Moll or whatever, may ultimately have to do that. But I've bought these Interstate ones many times before and overall have had a good experience with them so was trying to find them.

I have a stocking warehouse distributor a couple miles away I have dealt with for years. That would suck if they discontinued it. As far as I know that is the only battery that fits in the holes other than a OE dealer battery for triple the price.

That's interesting. I just bought two Interstate batteries from our local guy and he didn't say anything about them being available anymore.
Maybe your guy just didn't want to bother.......
They have 911 CCA 300 RC 65 PN on the label. The UPC code is 56489 12534
    Hope you find them.

I saw a Duralast the other day that is almost the same size.
V4-DLG it is not a AGM, but maybe they have an AGM version.

Yes what was on my label. Glad you were able to still find a pair, perhaps there were still some in stock in your area there but it sounds like these may not be produced going forward.

I decided to get the Group 70 Duracell branded batteries some others have mentioned here in the forums. We'll see how they work.
