Yea, and now with new laws in California. It is likely to gather a fine. All the CHPs will be out looking for "modified" exhaust systems to generate more revenue. It is anything but subtle. Thanks for the positive comments, guys. The most common comment is "WTF?"

    Ciao

Yup...California Exhaust Noise Bill Goes into Effect

"Yea, and now with new laws in California. It is likely to gather a fine"

A.B. 1824 amended how excess exhaust noise violations are handled by law enforcement. Beginning this year (January 1, 2019), a vehicle cited for violating the current exhaust noise law will no longer receive what is known as a “fix-it” ticket. Instead, violations will result in an immediate fine. ......

It looks like the rules have not changed but the “Enforcement” of this rule gives the individual law enforcement officer the option (opportunity?) of how to enforce this rule/law…./ Lars…

The Cops can just park along the 101 where we live and start pulling over Harley's. I'll be happy to provide the Coffee and Donuts to keep them alert.
