Wat are you looking for exactly? All alloy, or Alu rim on steel centers?

I doubt you'll find anything cheaper than 700-800 each...

You should try to give a phone call to Harvey Weidman he did some 906's wheels in the past (alloy-steel)
Depending on where you are, there's a guy in Australia who was also able to produce some alloy-steel wheels but he needs the steel centers...

Good luck, and please, if you find another source, please share with us!

Harry in Oz can make you whatever you want, but don't expect them to be cheap, quality costs.

HRBB quoted me $3200 for 4 7s today, which I think is reasonable. Will probably grab a set.

Weight of the HRBB's is not shabby either; 15LBS vs the 12LBS of a 15x7 Fuchs

Now the question is, will they swallow the 930 caliper?

Thanks for all the info... I’m in the home stretch of building a 912 based vintage racer and at 6’ 4” 250 lbs. I need to make it light as possible! I have a set of 6 x 15 Fuchs now, but like the look of steelies on a race car. Giving up 30+ lbs for steel wheels just won’t make it! Quess I’m “stuck” with the Fuchs.... (1st world problem, eh?)

Want to talk about heavy. I packed up a Rudge yesterday, with the drum and spinner, a 45lb box. That's some un-sprung weight!

Is that what they mean when they refer to a "momentum" car?

I'm sure most of the 356ers know the stories of Rudge wheels letting go at inopportune times. The best was when the driver saw his carless rear wheel go by while driving. Fortunately not too fast.

After running the Peekskill Grand Prix I noticed an issue, it's being dealt with. So yes, it happens.
