    Correct Koni shock top for 1973 S

    I have two different shock tops for Koni struts: Which one is the correct one for 1973 S ?

    Not sure what's correct... However the last time I did my front suspension on my April '73S my originals looked like the one you've shown on the left..... Here right after powder coating...

    Hi Tom,

    The cover on the left is certainly correct for Koni on a SWB. Weld bead around the top, rather than a machine looking weld or a spot weld as on the Boge. Chuck's look to be the same as the SWB.

    both shocks on my MY72 have the style on the left. Both are dated 1971. Of curse both tops could have been swapped over but seems unlikely.
