    1973 Horn information

Hi, I am restoring a 1973 911 RS and need horn information. The car was built in January 1973 and that seems to be when the horns changed from Banjo to Trumpet, although its unclear when the change actually occurred. Mine had black trumpets mounted in the completely wrong spot. I also need brackets or info on where to get brackets or good pictures of the correct brackets so that I can make a set. If I understand correctly, 1973 horn brackets were unique. Am I to also understand that all horns in 1973 were red regardless of whether they were banjos or trumpets? The car was originally built for sale in Germany. Any help is appreciated.

I also know that I can search for past info in the archives, but I need to post 10 times before I can send an email to Clyde Boyer. I hear that he may have the brackets I need. Thanks again, Chad
