    70 to 73. Painted black by a person with all of his or her taste in their mouth. Gee, I hope I haven't offended anybody.

    No offence to me, I defiantly wouldn’t have committed such a crime! They are on a 71 car that was updated to look like a g series, I am taking it back to it’s forer glory.

    I guess I should attempt to get these rechromed. Is that possible???

    This guy does locks & rechroming on eBay. Never used his services, so cannot comment on quality.

    Yea, it's possible. Do a search for "innies" and "outies". Those handles are are "innies" and are very tricky to rechrome.

    Would it be possible to just use a chemical stripper and hit them with a buffer to brighten them up a little to an acceptable finish?.
