Thread: Mechanic in Ottawa?

    Mechanic in Ottawa?

Just purchased an early 912 in Ottawa that I'll be importing to the States for restoration. The car was last running in 2017 and ran fine then but it's been sitting. My guess is I need someone who can go through the fuel system and get it started for me. It'll be much easier to import if it's running.

Any suggestions for a local mechanic?

I'd rather a local guy reply to this, but if you get stuck, then contact me for a suggestion or two.

Search "Briggs & Stratton repair" in the area. Should be someone who can get that VW running for you.

    Couldn't resist.

I get weary of people saying "Isn't that just a Volkswagen engine?"
