    Hi,

These switches were in my 1971 911T. I would appreciate any info you may be able to provide regarding if they are correct?

    those are g-model

headlight switch is wired differently for 71 if i remember correctly..knob and bezel are wrong
change the knobs + bezels on the fogs and rear glas heater to look correctly..
a g- mod hazzard.switch is basicly the same but graphic on the button is different compared to 71
ziggi lighter should not hav e the black bezel and of course different knob(can`t be changed)

The wiring on the headlight switch is a strong visual reminder as to why one should consider installation of relays in the headlight circuits to lessen the electrical load passing through the switch.

Many posts and threads on this topic. Do a search for "headlight relays" or the like. A popular vendor with an extremely easy to install product can be found at: https://www.jwesteng.com/shop/911/49...it-65-73-.html

Does anyone happen to know what years the red flamed lighter cover was used?

1969 for sure. Perhaps 70 and 71, but the red flame lighter was before the White Flame lighter. We discussed it in another thread a few years back. I know the White Flame lighter was used in 72 and 73.

    Still confused!!

I am struggling with uncovering which are the correct dash switches/knobs for my 71 car...

The Parts Catalog shows both plain knobs and also knobs/cap for/with symbols. Unfortunately no date references.

I was at a gathering yestaerday and there were at least ten 901’s there, nearly all of them had the plain knobs without symbols, cars were late 60’s to 73.

I am wondering if there are differences between markets, US, Europe, Australia etc.

Are there differences between T, E and S?

    Any light would be appreciated!!
