Ad on PCA gives first name as John. If you are a PCA member you can see the name and phone there.

If you go through the photos on the eBay ad there is a Certificate of Originaliy from Porsche where you can see the vendors name and address... also not a good thing to do...

    FS: @BaT - 1971 2.2L 911T Coupe

Now on BaT . . . . I kinda feel sorry for this seller, shows lack of restoration knowledge or skills.

Hi guys new to this place.
I'm looking for a project car anyway - how would this compare to a unrestored one needing all the usual welding/tinwork - floors, sills, quarters panels etc.
Would it be harder sort the issues on this out (if you are prepared to cut out 'previously restored' panels) than starting with an unrestored rust (bucket!!)?

Going by his previous adds on ebay etc I'm not sure what the reserve is but if it is sold for $20kish its surely worth a punt?

Just a suggestion...you may get a better response by posting your question in General Info. Good luck on your quest...and welcome!

He has been trying to sell it on PCA classifieds for several months. Ask there has ranged between $55-60k. Given that, I'be really surprised if the BaT reserve is less than $50k.
