If they will allow it, BAT has been auctioning off early Porsche parts, some with reserve I think... that would give you a clue about the market value. Big audience.

    Thanks,

I'll do that, post w/ optimistic price adding "or best offer". After some pondering, of course.

I did post some photos I took during the crating process. I have others if there is something special needed. I wasn't sure where to post photos; I read enough here that Photodump isn't preferred. Sorry if posting a URL to Imgur isn't allowed. https://imgur.com/gallery/FpcEtHX

I did think about "Bring A Trailer", they do have a parts section. I may look into that since I'll most likely be using that site to sell a car in the next month or so.

    Thanks All !

    Hi Frank,
Yeah, I'm pretty dubious of eBay. It's OK for books and crap, but the listings for parts such as these are suspicious. Having said that, I did acquire the case in 2003-ish off eBay from a well known Porsche parts trader (at least at the time).

I don't know when BaT started, but it seems to be a standard. I may try listing this case there next. It's also where, in a few months, I'll be listing my Vintage Spyder, a "faithful" recreation of a 1956 550A Spyder built in 2000 by "Vintage Spyders"

I do have some other photos around I can dig up. The box is not yet sealed, just assembled. If you have a specific area you'd like a photo, let me know. It may take a day or so to snap it, however.

    thanks,
    Brandon
