The vendor of this car is very approachable and is able to send via email a file of additional pictures.
The car has its "matching #" engine however the transmission was swapped out at some time in the past as were the original Solex carbs, filter and Pierburg system.
His contact details are on the ""Bird"" advert.

the car is in canada, the color is not the most desireble, it is missing some items...

but for the money you get a late 65 that has not been restored and you can use it as a driver!
    under 100k.

great car for the geek or driver!

Living here in New Zealand we have to jump through the usual hoops when importing cars from overseas. I have imported from Europe, UK and the USA.
    Question.
Is there some sort of difficulty when importing out of Canada ?

    canada is straight forward.

U.S buyers would have to pay 2.5% duty. And find a shipper to take it across the border.

    CURRENT AD ON PELICAN

1965 Porsche 911 (numbers matching engine, non matching transmission, correct year)
FIA Race Eligible under Appendix K, Also 2.0L Cup Eligible (info attached at the bottom)

This survivor 1965 911 would be a great to drive your favorite roads as it is, or restore to a concurs car.
Built prior to the summer break of 1965 therefore it is a true 65 and not a 66, Has the earlier strut towers. Kardex available.

Without a doubt an early 911 is the top driving experience for many Porsche enthusiasts world wide. If you’re a fan of the 911 over the past 50 plus years, and haven’t experienced where it began, you need to. Certainly the SWB 911s have become valuable/collectable, and for good reason, but it doesn’t always have to be that high dollar original or concurs restored 911.

One of the most iconic and recognizable vintage sports car, Porsche’s first generation 911 has become a must for collectors and Porschefiles alike. Every book and article has been written by the elite automotive minds, all the content you could ever read to learn about the history, details, specifications, etc. of the ’65 911. What hasn’t been written (unless named Wolfgang, Hans Peter, McQueen, Seinfeld, Zwart, Magnus, etc.) is the feeling we all have walking up to and getting in this simple sports car, our feeling as we drive, and our feeling when we park that leads to us wanting more. There is a lot to be said for no computers, wood steering wheel and dash, 4.5” wheels, 901 5 speed transmission, all powered by the legendary 2.0 liter 130 hp engine.

Chassis 302161 certainly deserves to be on the road, and driven by someone ready to create memories in a legendary 911.

Lots of bills and original records with the car.

Call David anytime for more information or to arrange an inspection.
We can assist with shipping anywhere in the world.

Only chassis numbers from 300 001 to 305 100 are admitted. FYI this is no longer a requirement for FIA papers
