    Headlights for 1969 Porsche 911 E

    Hi everyone,

What are the correct Bosch headlights for my Porsche 911E from 1969?

Does anyone also perhaps have the original Bosch item number of them?

Thanks for helping me, I really appreciate your help.

I live in Belgium and it was originally a European car. I did some research. Is it possible that it came with H4 headlights or where they only available from 1973 onwards?

These are questions that need to be addressed to John Audette. H4s weren't available in 1969, AFAIK

Dual filament H4 bulb was not invented until 1971. So no H4 lights of any kind prior to that. Your '69 would have come with H1 lights.

H 1 lights appeared mid 1968 production and H 4 lights came out around 1973 production. So your 69 911E would be stock with H 1. Chris
