    Kark Classics, Beware

    I normally wouldn't post something like this, but I was scammed by Kark Classics in Bremman Germany and I think that others should be warned. He has a nice looking website and comes across as knowledgeable so I ordered some very hard to find parts at prices that one would expect to pay for very hard to find parts. Took for ever to ship and once I received it, half my order was misrepresented (either wrong or poor quality or both) or common reproduction parts and the other half was never received. Won't accept returns, won't keep his satisfaction guarantee, hasn't returned an email or phone call in over a year.

    Anyway, just a warning. Proceed with caution, I wish someone would have warned me.

    Kark Classics is no name with a known degree in Germany. As far as I know an internet page in german language does not exist, just a small offer of 7 substandard cars at www.mobile.de. I know many people in the Classic Porsche Scene but never saw Kark Classic at any classic event.
    I´m no lawyer but according to the terms of service you have the right to cancel the purchase within 4 weeks after delivery. If you want, I sent you my email adress and you can describe me what exactly is the problem and I will phone to Kark Classics.

    Hello soft window,
    I have already looked into what I can do, and there is nothing. I was trusting, so i made a mistake that can't be fixed, at least not easily or inexpensively. The laws only apply to legitimate companies. Thanks, Chad

    Looking at the website I would say it is specifically set up to scam Americans. Everyone beware.
