FS: SWB (some LWB) Euro Headlights - Restored

    ** SOLD **

I don't have these very often. They are the single reflector headlights with Bosch buckets used as standard on Euro (R0W) longhoods until the halogen H4 bulb was introduced around 1972. They came with a dual filament incandescent tungsten bulb with a P45t base. The reason I mention the base is that H4 bulbs are manufactured with a P45t base in addition to the more familiar 3-prong P43t base. Therefore these will accept H4 bulbs.

These have been fully restored including: lenses replated with copper, nickel and vapor deposited aluminum; new correct Bosch 4487 fluted lenses; new chrome trim rings; new adjustment screws; refurbished original bulb holders and deflectors; and new bulbs.

In case you don't recall, the Bosch 4487 is the best looking lens on an early 911. Unlike the H1 and H4 lenses with the ridged tops, it has a flat profile that matches the profile of the fender.

    Your choice of bulbs:

    • 40/45 tungsten witj P45t base ~ for maximum originality
    • H4 60/55w with P45t base ~ for bright lighting without relay kit
    • H4 100/65W with P45t base ~ for maximum illumination, relay kit available for $35.00

    Price: $880.00 plus shipping

    Cheers,
    John
