I have to say that this is a truly rare opportunity to purchase a piece that is almost non-existent. I am truly tempted, just for conversation's sake, but when I went out to my nearly-finished '68 project, I remembered that the front bumper has weights in it, and realized that i would have to remove and re-work the whole assembly, which was disheartening.

If I was closer to the beginning of my project, I would jump on this. Good luck to the buyer. His project car will be COMPLETELY unique and people will walk away from the show talking about 'did you see that Classic Porsche with the weird front bumper over-rider?'

when this arrived 20+ years ago (based on a verbal description) I thought it was phony... or VW... or from some other marque. it went into storage & was forgotten until a few years ago when I saw a beat up example @ the Anaheim swap. maybe it's one of those things that you either love or hate the only car I ever owned that this could have been applied to has long since gone on to greener pastures.
