    Whatever was the outcome of the one listed in the "Monaco" auction last Fall? 64 911 prices are really hard to pin down and seem to vary with numbering -- even within the 'first 232.' Any recent sales of 901s?

    Frank, you came to mind when I saw this post yesterday. Rare parts like raised grills may now be entering the Uber Seriously category !!!

    all i can say is that the owners declared target (to do the best 64 resto)was by far not reached...i did not expect this..... my head is still shaking

    That's the issue with these early 64 cars, they've all been restored and often over-restored, I've yet to see one in its original soul.
