MFI pump fuel cut off solenoid

    hi,
I had Gus at PFI modify a 2.2 E pump to 2.3 RSR spec which included the removal of the fuel cutoff solenoid.
The car is being 'softened' for road use and i'd not like to have such an anti social back fire on over run.
Are there any internals that would have been removed as part of the modification ? or is it simply the case of replacing the
solenoid and wiring it up ?
    thanks

Best to ask Gus, but very likely it will just work. Solenoid is just a simple prodder, and there's no need to mess about with the internals.

By the way it looks like you have a CDI+ (from Classic Retrofit). You might be interested in this modification to drive the fuel cut-off from the CDI+ (programmable) rather than from the less reliable "speed switch". Car and website are mine:
