Thread: FS: 1973 Porsche 911S Coupe Signal Yellow

Very nice car, some more pictures but look very good and the 73S was the last and not as many as 72 S, not a big direct from RS, priced to sell I can see

Good luck, it should sell in the colors if all are well done and some nice history for the car.

Yes, just making sure. Bruce is an excellent early 911 mechanic. Phil is a horse trader, and a good one...

I thought you implied you did biz with them? Or did I misunderstand?

As someone who just buys cars he likes, it is helpful to have some constructive information available to help. I recently purchased a car, and after pouring through records, I literally forgot to ask if it had matching #s. Some times a comment or question will help a buyer who honestly is trying to ask all the right questions. I don't agree with the bombing, but previous info, and history is helpful IMHO, especially if the seller is a dealer.

Beautiful car. I've no room in my garage or my wallet for this. GLWS.

Only question is re transmission. Is it matching too?

    Hi Scott,

Thanks. I cannot verify if the gearbox is matching as there are no numbers on it. It is correct for the car. Better to assume it is not the original one and go from there. I have plenty of room to negotiate on this car and am open to reasonable offers.

It is on the lowest hanging piece of metal on the gearbox, facing the ground, and is nearly always ground off on 73 915 boxes
