    Here's mine- https://www.porsche.com/microsite/91...2c477b68ca2864

The first time I noticed and paid attention to a 911 was in the late summer of 1967, in New York City. My family was driving cross-town on a hot summer day, windows down in the family station wagon. I regarded sitting by a window and not between my two sisters as good fortune. I had been interested in cars for quite some time and I was always looking at what was on the road.

Dulled from the summer heat and humidity, a rolled down window hardly afforded a cooling breeze of air. Suddenly from beside and to the rear came a high pitched revving sound, quite unfamiliar to me since low grumbling car sounds always meant power and capability. With a howling lunge a top-off, 911 Targa shot past my window. I watched as the beautiful blonde driver worked spots in traffic. I was awakened by the working range of RPMs of the Porsche’s engine, slow with low tone to be suddenly replaced with a shrieking yowl as the Targa continued its traffic work.

Then all the traffic slowed together for the upcoming intersection. The driver looked over at me, smiled, downshifted and screamed the changing light. I was both shocked and drunk from the experience. The sounds, the car, the driver.

That was the first time I remember a Porsche 911.

    Thumbs up

    Gentleman,

Please remember that the Registry member cars should also have a chance to be covered in the ESSES...
