    FS: @CL - 1970 911T - Niagara Falls

Found this listing on Craigslist in Buffalo. Car is not mine, nor do I know the seller.

    https://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/d...814796841.html

To me, this car is incredibly beautiful. Thought I would share it with the forum.

I had the same color car years ago. Bought in '95 for $4K. Put $3K into it and drove it a few years. Sold in '99 for $9K - Wish I had it back. Of course, my car was never as nice as this one.

Just thought this group would like to see this one for sale.

    Brad

Looks like a nice car. Not sure I understand why he would advertise in the ghetto.

Seller is confused on his motor; "S" valves were no different than T valves in 2.2-2.7 heads.

When I see cars advertised in this section of N.Y. I think there is a chance the car is on the other side of the border in Canada.

100k is a nice price for that car. Hard to build them for that.
If it were CDN money, then it is a really sweet deal.

If properly restored and PPI is good, do you guys think this is a good buy?

The car seemed nice but not correctly restored to original. The steering wheel leather re-wrap was poorly done, the dashboard either has a cheap dash cap or an incorrect replacement dash (no speaker cut-out), and the turn signals are Italian, not Swiss (assuming the car was originally delivered in Switzerland). The Fuchs are polished and not restored to their correct anodized finish. No underside pics, and no docs confirming the rebuild work that the seller said was down to the engine. These are only observations after flipping over the pics for 30 seconds. If the engine rebuild is documented, and the underside is clean and original, then the car was a good buy for $76k...
