How about under dash? And not upside down.

Are you sure you aren’t johnjohn68?

Honestly I don’t know how that happens but I’ll give it another shot

My guess now is dealer or later aftermarket install using some factory parts. That hole for the duct tube to the under dash vents is a bit crude (although better than some that I've seen), doesn't look factory.

And the front condenser blower looks like the one in my former '84 Carrera, not the one with the box in my '72.

Add to that the bit that other stuff looks suspiciously new (like the trombone cooler and piping), makes me think that someone built it all from scratch, and maybe not all that long ago?

Looks like some one has added the components. You should contact CPR and ask if they have a record on what they did.
    Looks pretty rust free

Yes, most of the suspension parts and the oil lines running down the right side of the car to the trombone are new or newish (and especially that blower). The hole for the duct tube does look a bit janky I must say. I'm learning a lot here fellas!

A shot of old red braided air con line running from the compressor, down the right side under car to evaporator. this is obviously old but I'm not good enough to know 20 year old hose from factory hose. (and its probably upside down)

If that’s the comp clutch wire running alongside the hose that’s another tell.

I think someone bought all the discarded parts off the Champagne Yellow Canepa 73S and cobbled yours together.

You're getting more specific Frank! I tried CPR but got the machine...
