    What’s the history of these parts? Were they factory fitted on a lightweight car? Just curious as I thought all were metal...

    These pieces came with a factory built race 911T I restored 20 years ago. I do not know if they were original to that car as it was built for SCCA and the rules may have mandated steel. Note the center lube cut outs and asbestos heat shield on the rear piece.
