Just found this thread from late 2016 on the same subject:
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...profile-visits

My suggestion is to delete these accounts especially if the IP's are suspicious.
Just looking up Ashton's acct. His is probably hit worse than ours. 71000 hits compared to about 4000. I'm guessing that this is not good.

The typical fake has a minimum of 7 letters and generally a nonsense name. Most joined in 2015 but a few in Feb 2014. No idea how active they have been, but they all have been active today. I'm sure that this must cost us something for bandwidth; so far I have identified over 100. Just what are they harvesting? I don't believe it is benign.

If I look at the thread today, it looks different than yesterday. Isn´t this kind of censorship a bit over the top? I can understand if you want to limit the topics very much to concerns of Porsche enthusiasts, but a little more serenity would certainly not damage the forum.

Could you be more specific? Other than moving the thread to the Membership section, it is as it has been written.

Bernd, I am not sure what you are saying. No modified posts that I can see. As Peter says, it got moved; but I expected that since it did not really belong in general discussion. I only put it there for increased exposure since I think the situation called for a strong response. There should be sufficient response through people look at the new posts, or looking for a resolution in the thread.
