Ha! Yes, a real, honest-to-goodness, air-cooled motor powered by old-fashioned dinosaur remains just like God intended. Or as I tell my wife, the smell of a happy husband (that and queso).

Welcome, Duane, and thanks for your nice words. I'm beyond thrilled that my orange beauty has taken up residence with another enthusiast. Enjoy the ride!

No, Frank. That was just for me. Still no confirmation as to why but at least I'm special.

    lol.

Again, count it as a badge of honor to be on the receiving end of someone's skewed personal agenda. I just wish there was honesty about that agenda.

    Duane,

    Bravo for you.

Few newbies hit a homerun the first time at bat.
You either have skills or surround yourself with knowledgeable friends.

    Enjoy.

And please post pics of your tii in the 2002 thread. Thanks.

I have neither and was just lucky to check the ESR Classifieds a couple weeks ago when I came across John's ad.

This was my first swing at the bat. I've been at the batters box since my ESR account was created in 2012 and struck out looking several times.

The trick that worked this time was to not ask the wife for her approval and surprise her when the car was delivered and parked in the garage.

Had no idea there was a BMW 2002 thread on this site. I've posted a couple photos of my TurkisTii.

Hi Mike, looking forward to meeting you and other Chicago area early 911 owners. Just checked the Fuelfed event listing and will definitely make one of the Hinsdale events.
