Since JP lobbied so hard to get this thread re-opened, I feel obligated to at least introduce myself here.
I'm the proud new owner of 9110300908 and grateful JP posted this car on this forum. I've seen how critical cars for sale can be treated here. This actually helped me buy the car sight unseen with great confidence knowing that someone would not allow a car to be misrepresented here.
Thank you JP for being such a great seller. He arranged for me to speak to Steve Henry from Eagle Racing about the car. Thanks for your time Steve! The car was detailed last week before JP made all the arrangements for transport.
Car arrived this past Wednesday in Chicago. Here's the first photo of the car finally in my possession...

You are one lucky fella ,,, enjoy and keep us all posted.

Congrats to the new owner. What a great car. However, you may want to reference the complete VIN so someone down the road doesn’t confuse your acquisition with a ‘65 911.
Just to clarify: Why was this thread closed? Are threads automatically closed now once an item is sold?
Great a local buyer, hope to see you at the Fuelfed events this year: https://fuelfed.wordpress.com/the-fuelfed-open/

Frank - Thank you! I've updated the VIN in my post. I thought I was being "cool" by just referring to the the last 6-digits. This is my first air cooled Porsche and I had never driven or rode in one before. JP can tell you about the texts I had to send him about how to cold start it, that red light at the very top of the oil temp/pressure gauge (remember it's a Euro car with Euro gauges) and that "fumy" smell from the engine deck lid after a drive.
