    correct paint for 1984-1989 Carrera?

    would 1984 Carrera be single stage? Would it be glasruit?

    Would metallics be base coat/clear coat?

    Just did an '85 in marble grey and it was single stage. Yes to Glasurit. And every metallic we've done of that era has been base/clear.

    My '84 in Chiffon White was also single stage.

    uni colours of that era are single stage
    metallic or pearl are base+clear coat.

    the uni+clear thing came with the water base system which was introduced in the car industrie in the 90ies
