Doubt Porsche and parent will want to take much risk of scandal and fine or reputational damage risk after the emissions debacle[/QUOTE]

Just an update on my services> I have been supplying Kardex for the 1950 through 1969 cars, and the rare 1970 model year car. For the 1970 through 1980 cars I get the data from a production report and write up a pseudo CoA-type of document, but do not call it official. I do add some information that can be found on the body. For post 1980 car I can get data but not engine or transmission serials. From 1970 and group options in the data can be difficult to expand into individual options. Custom paint or interior codes can be difficult to determine details on. Some Fahrzeug-Auftrag documents are available for a few 914/6, and some RS & 930 cars.
It is also possible to use some engine or transmission serials or production numbers to reverse search a VIN.
Really, there is a good body of information that can be found on some cars with a bit of diligent research.

Hi Dave. Thanks for what you do. How do I go about getting a "pseudo CoA-type document" for my 1973.5?
