It seems to be a very original car

'. . . A very rare first-paint example, kept in unrestored condition and single family ownership since delivery new to 2017.

Finished in Grand Prix White with red script and black leather Recaro sports seats, chassis # 911 360 1067 was delivered new via Mahag in Munich, Germany, on 8th May 1973 and sold to Mr Fernando Pensato (Italy). First registered on Zoll plates (for export) number 663 Z 9950, the vehicle has been kept in Italy for the majority of its life becoming re-registered there in Foggia on 28/07/1976 with the registration number: 186805 FG.

This remarkable example remained in single family ownership from 1973 until its sale in 2017, when it was then brokered via us to the current keeper and re-registered in the UK.

The extraordinary first-paint naturally displays various signs of light patina but, coming from the dry climate that it has, crucially this car presents no evidence of any serious corrosion and has never required restoration work. Furthermore, this matching numbers 2.7 RS is something of a true reference car, revealing so many interesting and original factory production methods and finishes.

#1067 has 85,000 kms recorded and has been periodically maintained and serviced at the following intervals as recorded in the history file and stamped within the original Pflegepass service booklet. The last maintenance work carried out was done by us in 2017, which involved a major (120 hours) engine out re-commissioning service and cleaning, also replacing all worn bearings, bushes, seals, and filters etc.

We are delighted to offer this extraordinary Carrera 2.7 RS, which is one of the very few remaining examples never to have required restoration. This very special car is a unique and wonderful experience to drive

A wonderfully correct example - new owner: please don't restore this car!

The gearbox seems to be the original 915/08 7831038, even if the final 8 is difficult to read.

I also hope that the new owner will not restore this car, and also not clean it too much.

I've heard the asking price is £850k (circa $1080k) but that is secondhand information. Agree better if preserved but who'd bet against a new owner doing full nut and bolt job. Already signs that the temptation creeping in e.g. new drivers mats in one photo rather than the heel worn ones and some other things "improved" possibly as a result of the engine out recommissioning work mentioned in the blurb.
