Are all Engine Lid hinges the same?

    Hi
Mocking up my panels ready for welding but the hinges on my engine deck lid need shimming out approximately 1/4 inch !!

My cars a 67 is it a different hinge for earlier cars?

    Thanks in advance

There are differences in the engine lid hinges. I am aware of two different types. Not sure which is early and which is later.

hinge geometry is the same for all longhoods(and g-mod i`d say)....many (most early)cars came with shimming (have a close look at the pics that have been posted here) but 1/4 inch seems a bit too much...parcel shelve replaced?

Bright red 67, has been repainted by prior owner. The other two are presumed to never been separated from each other! ....cliff
