    FS: 5 Speed 911/01 Transaxle 70/71 911E 911S Rebuilt w/Warranty $3250

Sold Sold Sold I came across this in my travels and decided to have it rebuilt by a local expert since used transaxles are a mystery and a risk, people always want to know if they are 100% working and if you didn't remove them from a car you drove you don't know. Condition can make a huge difference when getting one rebuilt, it can be $1500 for a fairly simple rebuild or 2-3 times that if you need a R&P and a few gears replaced. Fortunately this one was in fairly decent shape.

Gary Zink at Gary’s Transaxles (44 yrs experience with Porsche/VW transaxles) did the rebuild. He had an informative website previously but has more than enough work to keep him busy from word of mouth so he no longer maintains the webpage. This tranny was in working order prior to rebuild. New synchros, seals, and gaskets installed in addition to replacing 1st gear. Comes with a 2 year warranty from date of completion (9/26/2018). This tranny came in 70 and 71 911 E/S models but the serial number (7114735) lines up to a 1971. Transmission comes with the throwout bearing fork and front mount as shown in picture.

$3250 outright. Can be shipped UPS withing the continental US for a reasonable fee (approx $200), willing to ship international if you are willing to pay the high shipping fees. Paypal add 3%. Let me know if you have any questions.
