    I confess, I'm a data junkie. I download Kardexes that pop up online.

    Here's one for a '67S:

    About ⅓ of the way down "Händler: Fa. Mahag, München" is the original dealer. Mahag still sells Porsches as Porsche Zentrum München.

    By the way, Kardex is properly the name of an originally American company that pioneered the use of index cards, see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kardex.

    Over at the 356 Registry there's an article Kardex Translations: German/English.

    Interesting, my VIN is 307850 which is 72 cars after this one. Will be interesting when I get one for my 1967 911.
