No new video? No drone footage? Rusty's model not available?

Huge price. Congrats. E’s and originality getting respect! Conda color too of course. Curious how much more it would have brought if an S?

Glad too to see BaT is an effective outlet compared to the big auction houses.

I'm sure glad I didn't have to find out! Hammer price reflects on the reputation of the seller. As commented on BaT, my S has been everything and more than I expected. I now know why John talked me out of driving car from Austin to Chicago.

    John,

Congrats on a great auction and results for a very fine car. It was fun to watch the auction process and your great descriptions and responses to the participants in the auction.

The provenance of the car and your presentation made the sale the success it was.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate everyone's kind words. Bonus of the whole thing is that the car went to a great new home. I can sleep well tonight.

Obviously someone didn't like being called out... even though I never even insinuated a name.

Suffice to say if a car is on BaT or anywhere else it's really bad form to voice what the car could have been "bought for just a few weeks previously". It simply doesn't matter and all it does is stifle bidding.

Let the freaking auctions run without inserting "what you think a car is worth" or what it "could" have been bought for.

Wish I could bottle and sell self validation... oh wait... Zuckerberg beat me to it.
