The video won't show any sewing. It's a video of guy recovering his pockets with the original vinyl after having straightened the cardboard with a flat iron.

I will try to find the piece of vinyl I took off the original pocket when I am at my workshop later this week to show you the cut-out.

I am nowhere near being a saddler or upholsterer but here's how I did it:

Take a piece of vinyl about the size you need to wrap the pocket + a good 3-4 cm's of overlap on all sides. Wrap it loosely around the pocket and "feel" the top of the corner where the seam will go and mark it somehow (I used my index finger). Then take the vinyl off, flip it and mark the 45° angle on the back of your vinyl with a set square (don't the 90° corner of it ;-). The tip of the set square must go where you marked the corner with your finger. Then cut it out with a cutter knife.
The resulting 2 sides ("hypotenuse" & "catete") will be the 2 sides you need to align atop each other with the vinyl sides facing each other. Then it's just a quick step on the pedal of your sewing machine and the job is done. Like so:

The resulting seam has to be flipped over and you have the perfectly sewed corner for your pockets. You can also trim off some of the overlap to make the vinyl wrap around the corner more nicely. When glueing the vinyl onto the pocket I suggest to start with that exact corner and work you way around one step at a time.

I suggest to give the sewing a try on some old cut-offs first to get used to the sewing machine and how to sew at proper speed.
