    Bosch 0 231 159 001 Distributor

This 0231159001 distributor was taken out of a running 2.0 engine. It obviously needs a cap and rotor so I’ve priced it accordingly.

$525 shipped in the US NOW $415 SHIPPED

Hi, is 0-231-159-001 correct for 65-66 engines, and 0-231-121-006 for 64 engines?

No and it’s slightly more detailed.

The 901 engines had a different number, then the 006 and last the 001. The cut off number for the 006 you can find in Porsche factory information, I think in the little specs too.

My euro spec 68 911L might have this distributor but mine does not seem to have the external what looks like a round resister or relay with a wire to the side of the dizzy. this one does. What is the difference or is there one? I would buy this if it was correct for my 911. thanks Chris
