    That is an unfortunate turn of events. The telling phrase: "Some of the cars are fine, some will pass into the next life, and others will be restored." indicates that some cars were destroyed. I assume from the photos that a wall or at least a part of the roof structure fell on some cars. Maybe I will have to get the book.

    The book is quite revealing of their process and has magnificent photography... it will now be a poignant testament to the pre-explosion collection...

    Has anyone from Canada ordered the book from Road Scholars? It seems that my address does not permit a cost to ship, and thus fails to make a sale.

    For anyone needing a US address :"Global Shopaholics"
    No affiliation but we have used them regularly last couple of years to consolidate and ship single or multiple things from the US to wherever we are. Minimal fees and choice of shipping to wherever you are. I've hit them with some very large boxes down to envelope size and consolidations have been well packaged.
