    Help Mounting a Roof Rack

I want to mount my roof rack but want to make sure I do so without damaging the paint. I have been told that I should use some clear tubing. Can someone post a photo for me showing the best mounting method? Thanks, Kevin

It will be helpful to know which style of rack. The Amco style can use a couple clear pieces to protect the paint.
