Me, too. As often as I can and even during winter time. Well, that's at least as long as streets are less salty than a Taco Bell value meal...
Parents in town, need two cars to move everyone: 8 days in a row and counting, couldn’t be happier!

Her insurance, State Farm, says $1,500. Called Haggerty. Won’t take the claim because State Farm accepts responsibility.
As soon as she hit me, my first thought was, “Well, there goes 4K or 5k bucks right out of my pocket”.
I’m cancelling Haggerty. I’m not paying them close to 2 grand a yr for nothing. This tells me, that Co. has found a market whose willing to pay big bucks for service no better than any other company.
Screw ‘em. Back to Usaa.
If I have to self-insure anyway, I can do that without giving away money to other people for a false sense of security.
Had I not been paying premiums to support Haggerty’s business MO, that money would have fixed this car with money to spare.
I’ve got no business driving an old car that cost this much money. (Especially if I have to self insure it). As much as I love 911’s...and especially this 911...I don’t have the money to love anything that much.

Hello David, insurance is always frustrating and I think part of the Game plan, make people give up!! I also have Haggerty and this is alarming. Now insurance is NOT my area, just some experience and hopefully helpful comments here and hopefully others.
I don't think State Farm can say it is $1,500 game over until you have verified estimates you are happy with. and if no satisfaction there that is where I would expect Haggerty to step up and protect you as a policy holder and then THEY fight it out with State Farm to subrogate any difference that needs to be paid to make you whole.
I am not sure of your Haggerty coverage BUT if as mine (full coverage, no deductible, no questions asked) and they came off with no responsibility or support to you as a customer I too would be pissed. My policy is due for renewal in about 2 weeks, I will be calling them and asking some very pointed questions.
Please keep us updated on this.
Good luck!!

Your damage does not appear to be beyond the capabilities of a good body shop. I would not let them use bonds, good shops don't.
I can understand your apprehension. I usually don't worry much about accidents although I do drive defensively. However I recently drove from Houston to San Antonio and was a nervous wreck until I got off IH10. Way to many big rigs hauling along at 90+. Ford explorers and F350's tailgating me at even 100 with no inkling that their stopping distance was way longer than mine.
It seems even these huge vehicles can easily motor along at triple digit speeds these days.
