    The "brackets" continued thru the 68 model year.

    taken off from my 68L...not sure if the doors even had the slits...need to have a look... still have the doors ......somewhere

    68 911 RH side. 68s are "one year only". They look like a 69 and later part on the outside but 65 - 67 on the inside.
