ST. RSR lightweight door panel question.?

Did the original lightweight door cards fitted to factory ST, RSR cars have a finishing trim to the ends and bottom section. ?

I am just working on a pair for my ST build and this detail has got me thinking. My gut instinct say's that the edges were just folded over and stapled.

Anyone on the board have firm evidence on this one.?

    Thanks

    Dave

None of the original ones I have looked at have had any finishing trim.
