FS: 911 repro map pockets & knee pads

    Fellow LWB owners,

I have been active on pelican and wanted to post some of my products here. I have constructed some very nice repro parts for 69-73 911s and there will be more to come. All the parts we have constructed are as close to the originals as possible. We have done texture matches on the knee pads and armrests and worked to perfect our fit on the map pockets. Please take a look at my website when you have a chance.

All the parts we have for sale along with some of the prototypes we are working on are on there. If there is something that you are looking for please shoot me a message and we will add it to our list of parts to build for the community. I appreciate all your support and look forward to earning your business! Feel free to email me with any questions at vik@calipercreations.com

    Cheers,

    Vik

    Vik,

very nice work! Dead-on! Still can't believe those folding pockets aren't 50 year-old originals...

Anyway, since you've asked for it, here you go:

I think there'd be quite a demand for the top rubber trim of the front map pockets. Should be way less designing effort than the armrests and would probably sell by factor 10...

Yup, we are working on that also. Would people buy just the top trim or the whole pocket??

IMHO, the top trim would be a really sought after replacement part. At least more than the pocket itself - by numbers.
Since I have my glass fibre pockets installed I use the fixed one as door handle (as probably everyone has done even with the original pockets installed. Simply due to the lack of the arm on the driver's side armrest). Sooner or later the top part will get worn/cracked/etc.
Besides, you can get your pockets recovered pretty much everywhere, but no one can restore the top rubber trim.

And as previously stated you’ll have a winner if you match the finish of the aluminum trim better.
