    To a couple of points upthread. If you've ever changed the plugs on a 4cam you would certainly appreciate the 901. Yes the roller bearing crank was problematic but the C2 was not issue free. It was just the the most issue free of the type for the street. As I said earlier I got schooled at Rennwagen and decided a 4cam for me was silly. I had my brief stint because I inhaled too much castor fumage and had to have a 4cam. I hung out at the track too much. Fortunately I came to my senses even though I had some experience working with them and had access with Billy. The four cam for me is an event car not to be driven daily thus my choice of the 901.

    My two cents, I would have bought the C2 being that it was near the end of the 356 run and thinking that everything had been sorted out on these cars at that time in 1964.

    The C2s are actually easier to replace the plugs on. They factory added special little access panels on these. The larger lid on the T6 cars also helps. Having changed plugs on earlier engines I can attest that it is no fun.
