Hi,

Looks more like a brake line clamp/holder than a wire holder. Is it possible the factory just used what they had on hand? Did a quick look at the PET but could not locate a brake line clamp

Hmm. That looks like a VW part, 211 611 795. Part "I" in the pic. My cost about $2.35 ea. Probably not plated.

If you compare the diameter of the clip and to the diameter of the hole for the 6 mm sheet metal screw, the pieces in my post have a smaller diameter more appropriate for a wire clip. Pretty sure my parts came off 911 engines I’ve disasembled over the years.
