    FS: 3.0 engine rebuilt

    HELLO LAST PICTURE SHOWS 930 101 104 4 R
    Case number is 930 101 104 4R its hard CHANGE

    I found that 930/04 was a 49 state car in 1978 & 1978 number range and engine number????
    ??????? Maybe some Porsche wizzird can tell me why the number is that way

    3.0 rebuilt from new case studs out black ones. Sdt rod bearings,case studs rings valve job oil fed chain tensioners lower valve covers. In my car and can be driven.Located in Lincoln , ca Engine number 6272509 type 930/04.

    $15,000.00 complete 13,500.00 without SSI's

    looks like an earlier 2.7 airbox though.

    I have 4 or 5 covers if you want the engine. The one it came with had holes drilled in for more AIR.
    The engine is now in a 1974 Porsche and thats stock. 1 strap is not on either. George

    FWIW, 627**** is a '77 2.7S number and 04 type isn't correct for that engine.

    European engine with aluminum case. and its a 3.0 I had the same thing when I bought it so chacked with Porsche thru a friend.

    That case is a 77 2.7 USA Mag case. What is the type #?

    Its an aluminum case type 930 / 04 Got some info from Porsche AG. European engine.

    930/04 is a USA 78/79 911SC and would have an engine number starting with 628 or 629. Can you post a picture of the type number on your engine?
