    Nah, it's for a 914/6GT roller I got from KJ looooong ago... needed the gearbox, tank and cooler anyway and with engine included at that price, it was a no-brainer.

    So I take it that a 2.6 (92X66) on the street will be fine at 7500 redline, mostly just fluffing around on a 7R case. All though my tech wants to cut my original Aluminum case for the build. But I think of the reduction in value of the car at resale time. Then again well put together engined modified hot rods with this type of modded engine are popular it seems these days. But everybody has their own idea of what a great hot rod is so that goes back to leaving the original case stock and building a 7R case for it. Frank--do you still have that cut Al case for sale?
