    here is a pic from my VIII.72 ('73 MY) owners manual. this may be the first documented evidence of the "wind-up" type jack. (please note... even though this is a B&W photo the "dot", to my eye, does not appear to be green)
    the lever operated jack pictured here (not mine) is generally considered to be correct from '63 - '69. (the base is painted blue during the 356 era changing to black for the 911/912)
    the jack I offer here fills in the gap.
    I'm happy to see evidence to the contrary.
