    Scheel Police please

Bought 2 seats form a friend - very reasonable price / good deal even if repro/fake/whatever - am not expected to be genuine, so fire at will.
They for sure have been (poorly) refurbished
They are cool and would fit my 68L nicely (once correctly redone)

Those look genuine to me, the earlier version 300R... if they were re-upholstered it's as good as my original. You scored.

What makes you think they aren't correctly done?

    Russ, Thanks for the feedback.

The foam is really thin and glued poorly - the fabric is poorly cut on the edges and not sewed well. Maybe it is normal though :-)
    Happy if they are genuine.

I'll defer to Uli who has probably seen more of these than any of us. Nice repops, I had forgotten he made them... anyone have a current link? The old one is Tango Alpha.

I think Gerrit kind of retired after selling his CSL.
That said I've had contact a couple of times since then and he is still doing some work and parts but not running the Business with website and so on anymore.

    Cheers
    Uli

@xavier But you're lucky BMW Classic recently delivered a CSL restored by them to a customer with a repop 101 seat that was horrid in all aspects from substructure to foam to cover to material
