    R Gruppe Treffen at Buttonwillow.

    Great day!
    100% safe and 100% fun.
We saw many cars with Go Pros, maybe a few others can share videos too?

My buddy Dave and I finished the day with a rather nice drive.
Sure we were only at 8/10ths with a passenger and on a drying track but sometimes the flow and rhythm just feels right.

    Thumbs up

Of all things my phone/camera locked me out until I got to Monterey's Apple store for the fix... No track pics...

However, Eric Williams and his 'Gold Ticket' metallic gold '73 3.2 in the 3rd session on brand new TOYO RA1's was the definite 'Rainmister'....

Here's a friend's track pic... Right on Eric.....

I may be a bit biased, but last weekend at the RGruppe Treffen was about as good as it can get for a car guy. Great track day, great roads driven like they should be driven, but more importantly, a wonderful gathering of passionate Porsche diehards.

Speaking of Randy Wells, here he is (White ST) with Henry Hinck (Blue Carrera) and Chris Andropoulos (Grey 951) lining up to lead out the first session for the novice group under threatening skies.. All in all, a fantastic day. Big thanks to Dan Byers for organizing and keeping it all running like clockwork!

Post SPD, headed back to Santa Barbara, largely unimpeded and relatively unrestrained drive home, highways 58 - 33 - 150 - 192... Beautiful afternoon for a sports purpose drive in California..

The day after Apple got my phone/camera unlocked (3 quick taps on the home button... )

Laguna Seca on Sat. morning did a pretty good (monthly ?) Cars & Coffee, this time sponsored by a local Porsche dealership...

At about 10:00 they had some kind'a 'Club Cup' Porsche track event... They were go'n fast and sound'n good...

    Under threatening skies....

Jim I will pass it on to Matt.
Matt has been a big help at the track and with my racing.
When he has time he takes hundreds of photos.

I love buttonwillow raceway. So much fun especially in lower powered cars.
