Interesting, it looks original to its age.

If it helps my 1966 911 #302580 came with V 321 Charcoal carpeting. I always wondered if this was correct, but the more I research it the more it seems correct.

Where is the carpet choice called out on the Kardex?

I've never seen carpet on a Kardex. Being a data junkie, I've downloaded a couple. Here's one to illustrate:

In the block towards the upper right labeled Farbe (color) it says:

    baliblau 6412 B/P

baliblau is Bali Blue, 6412 is the code for Bali Blue and B/P is a code where B is black upholstery and P is Pepita (houndstooth) inserts. Were this a 912 it might well have been B/C where C is corduroy inserts.

The next block, Polsterung spells out Kunstl. schw/Pepita (i.e. Kunstleder schwarz/Pepita) meaning synthetic leather, black/houndstooth.

But, I've never seen a kardex spelling out the carpet.

    Hi,

Does anyone know of a source for the original type wide groove rubber used on the heel mat and front of tunnel mat for a 1965 car?
