    Nice movie.
There is a beautiful red 356 speedster at the beginning.

    Thumbs up

Can't wait to see the movie !!!!

I will say however that back in the '60's there was a bit less amenities at Willow Springs then what's shown in the photo capture...

    - From my '80's History of Willow Springs hand out that has something to do with the movie's time period...

    - Me and my friend Hector (in the car) cutting high school and sneaking into the track in '67... this would be the view just to the right of photo capture...…..not much there then ...

Really enjoyed it. A few liberties taken to create a little drama. I have seen reports that Lee Iacocca (sp.), did not travel to Italy and Carroll never gave Henry a test ride. Never realized there was such a contentious relationship between Ford and Carroll.

Year's ago I interviewed Dr. David Helmick for a story and as an aside he told me he was the team Dr for the GT40 team. Ford was spending sooooo much money that he convinced them to rent a copter to have him in the air and shadowing the cars as they raced, that way if they wrecked he could land and be on site in seconds. Never landed but he said he had the best seat in the house!
