SO sorry to hear of this. As others have said, hope it's recovered in the same condition as stolen. If not, I hope your dealings with the ins. co go well. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm bummed out. No word yet. The community has been great. I've received emails of support from around SoCal. Thanks to those that took the time. I'll keep you updated on the car and the settlement.

I want to share some very good news. The LAPD found my car and it's in pretty good shape. The thief popped the lock on the door and destroyed the ignition but otherwise it looks to be in good shape. Tomorrow it goes to TLG where Marco will perform a proper assessment but as the detective told me, "I've been doing this a long time and as outcomes go it doesn't get much better than this." Thanks to the community for the support and kind words and thanks to the LAPD for acting quickly. On the retribution side of the scale the thief was nowhere near the car when it was covered so he is still out there. The Detective thought the car may have been targeted so be vigilant. I know I will be from now on.

Amazing.
Make sure the gearbox shifts and clutch works exactly the way it did before the perp brutalized it.
EXCELLENT NEWS!! SO happy for you. Hopefully the damage is limited to what you’ve seen. I gotta agree with Frank on this, AMAZING, on so many levels!

That is really something. Just such good news!
The guy stole it and left it outside? I'm glad you had a stupid thief.
We had tree trimmers on our block....while working, they would see what was for the taking...and then they would come back later and break in and steal bikes, cars, boats. etc.
could it have been the guys working on your driveway?
by the way, you are one post away from 964, isnt that your car?
